Cancellation of subscriptions at the end of the paid period
Currently, when a user cancels a subscription on Rebill, it is immediately terminated even if they have paid for the entire period. For example, if someone paid a day ago for a full month and cancels, they immediately lose access to the days they have already paid for. There could be an alternative cancellation option whereby when a subscription is canceled, the user retains access until the end of the period they have already paid for, and only then is it terminated and not renewed. This is much fairer because the user does not lose what they have already paid for. It would be great if Rebill offered this option, ideally as something configurable by plan or globally for those offering subscriptions. That way, everyone can choose whether cancellations are immediate or scheduled for the end of the paid period.
FORCE PAYMENT FOR PAUSED SUBSCRIPTION
Forcing payment for a subscription can only be done when it is active. Is there any possibility of doing this when it is paused? I have clients who ask me to try to charge them, and I have to activate the subscription to do so. If this is not done, the client remains active with access to the course without payment. On the other hand, it would be great if you could add the option to force it while paused. If it is not charged, it remains paused, and if it is charged, it goes directly to active status. Thank you very much.
Possibility to validate the origin of requests via webhook
As of today, at least I have not found a way for the webhooks sent by rebill to be authenticated with any signature or hash. As equivalent comparisons, MercadoPago includes an x-signature header which allows to validate that the incoming request is officially from MercadoPago. It would improve a little more the security of webhooks that are usually unprotected. Another alternative would be to be able to configure headers from the Dashboard and have Rebill resend them when sending notifications via webhook. This way, each user could include an x-api-key header, for example, and keep the endpoints protected. Nowadays, the only alternative I found was to include a signature in the "metadata" attribute of the body of some endpoints, for example, to create a payment link for a subscription. Maybe there is something that I did not see in the documentation, so I would be grateful if you could share this information with me.
Pre-fill document type and number via API (prefilledFields)
Problem Currently, prefilledFields.customer in the Payment Links API only supports: email, fullName, phoneNumber, countryCode, and language. There's no way to pre-fill document type (typeIdNumber) and document number (idNumber) via the API payload. This forces merchants to use Custom JS workarounds with URL query parameters, which: Requires extra frontend development Is fragile and undocumented Doesn't work reliably across all scenarios Use Case When a customer completes checkout on our e-commerce platform, we already collect their document. We want to pass this data to Rebill to avoid asking the customer to re-enter it. Proposed Solution Add these fields to prefilledFields.customer Benefits Reduces friction at checkout and improves conversion rates Consistent with how phone prefill works (recently added) No need for Custom JS workarounds
Validation or Verification of ID
I recently mentioned the problem with email validation and it was solved, thank you very much. Now I am having the same problem with the ID number. My workflow is automated and takes the data from rebill, checks the tax ID number in Arca, and issues the invoice. What happens is that users enter their ID number incorrectly and the invoice comes out in someone else's name. Would it be possible to add a validator or some function to prevent this? Greetings to the entire great team!
Cash Payments
It would be great to add "Arg Pago Fácil" and "Rapipago" as payment methods for customers who only pay in cash with a payment slip.
MoR (Merchant of Record)
I'm about to launch a SaaS. I'm looking to reach global clients and bill in USD, and resolve the issue of global taxes. When you have any updates about MoR, please let me know.
