Changelog

Follow new updates and improvements to Rebill.

May 18th, 2026

Rebill MCP is now available in our developer documentation, making it easier for your team to build with Rebill using the AI agents and IDEs they already use.

Your assistant can now search Rebill Docs by topic and ground answers in current documentation, instead of guessing, switching tabs, or asking you to paste full pages manually.

What’s included

• Connect your coding agent or IDE to hosted Rebill documentation through MCP
• Use Rebill MCP with Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, and Codex
• Search across API Reference, SDK guides, quickstarts, and integration patterns
• Copy ready-to-use configuration snippets for each supported tool
• Open the active documentation page in ChatGPT with context
• Open the active documentation page in Claude with context
• Copy any documentation page in Markdown
• Use Rebill Docs as live context before writing or reviewing code

Each setup guide shows where the configuration lives and gives your team a copy-ready snippet, so developers can connect Rebill MCP locally without manual guesswork.

This helps teams move faster from documentation to implementation, with less context switching, fewer repeated questions, and more accurate AI-assisted answers.

The MCP deployment is read-only. It does not call the Rebill API, use secret keys, or execute payments. It only exposes documentation retrieval tools.

Improved

QR transfer payments in Argentina are now available for both local businesses and international companies selling into the country.

We first launched QR transfer payments for cross-border merchants, allowing international companies to offer a local payment method in Argentina without setting up a local entity.

Now, we’re expanding availability to locally operating businesses too.

With Rebill, merchants can offer one of Argentina’s most familiar payment experiences through a single QR. Customers simply scan the code and confirm the payment from their preferred banking app or wallet, including Mercado Pago, Ualá, MODO, and more than 30 banks.

Payments are confirmed instantly, helping reduce checkout friction and improve payment coverage across more customers.

Improved

SDK

We improved the validation flow for PIX and Boleto payments by validating CPF/CNPJ values in real time before creating the payment attempt.

Instead of only checking the document format, Rebill now verifies whether the CPF/CNPJ actually exists using Brazil’s official person and company records before generating the PIX QR or boleto.

Customers can now:

• Validate CPF/CNPJ in real time before generating the payment
• Confirm whether the document number actually exists
• Automatically remove characters like "." and "-"
• See clear validation errors before payment creation

Previously, invalid or non-existent CPF/CNPJ values could still reach the payment provider, resulting in failed payment attempts and unnecessary customer frustration.

Now the checkout helps customers correct invalid information before the payment is processed, creating a smoother payment experience and improving approval rates for PIX and Boleto payments.

Available now in:
• Checkout
• SDK

Update the SDK to version 1.17.11 or higher. 🚀

New

You can now accept QR transfer payments in Argentina, allowing customers to pay instantly from any banking app or wallets like Mercado Pago, Ualá, MODO, and others.

This is one of the most widely used ways to pay locally. Customers simply scan the QR and confirm the payment from their preferred app with a familiar experience they already trust.

For international companies selling in Argentina, this makes it possible to offer a local payment method without setting up a local entity or managing additional integrations.

QR transfer payments can also be used for subscriptions, expanding the range of payment options available for recurring billing.

Payments are confirmed instantly, helping reduce checkout friction and improving payment coverage across more customers.

Refunds for QR payments are also supported, so you can manage post-payment operations directly when adjustments are needed.

Available now for cross-border merchants operating with Rebill. Support for locally operating entities is not included at this time.

New

You can now require 3D Secure authentication on every USD card payment.

When 3D Secure runs in challenge mode and the cardholder successfully verifies their identity with the issuing bank, liability for fraudulent chargebacks shifts from you to the issuer. This reduces exposure to fraud and gives you stronger control over how transactions are approved.

You can configure how authentication behaves depending on your risk strategy:

• always
• challenge

Setting 3DS to always ensures authentication is requested before authorization on every eligible USD card transaction.

You can now also see the authentication result directly in the payment detail view, including whether verification was completed successfully or if the customer did not finish the challenge.

Especially useful if you want to shift fraud liability to issuers and reduce chargeback exposure on USD card payments.

New

Improved

You can now issue partial refunds for BRL payments made with cards and Pix directly from the payment detail view.

Choose the exact amount to refund on BRL card and Pix payments instead of refunding the full transaction. The dashboard automatically limits the value based on the remaining refundable balance, including any previous partial refunds.

Each refund updates the payment status in real time. When the accumulated refunded amount reaches the original payment value, the payment is marked as fully refunded.

Every refund is recorded individually with its timestamp and provider reference ID, so the full refund history stays visible at all times. Payments with refunds also display a net after refund amount, making it clear how much revenue was ultimately retained.

Improved

You can now pass customer information directly through query parameters in your payment link URL.

Previously, prefilled fields had to be configured inside each payment link. That worked well for static setups, but made it harder to reuse the same link across multiple customers.

Now you can generate personalized checkout sessions from your own system without creating new payment links.

With query parameters, you can:

• prefill customer data like email, name, phone number, and address
• set the checkout language automatically
• apply coupon codes directly from the link
• attach custom metadata for tracking campaigns or external references
• reuse the same payment link across multiple customers

This makes payment links easier to integrate into CRMs, automations, and campaign workflows while keeping checkout faster for your customers.

Requested by merchants building dynamic payment link flows.

New

Testing a checkout flow shouldn’t require typing the same data over and over again.

You can now autofill checkout fields automatically while testing payments. Customer information, billing address, and payment details are completed in a single click so you can validate scenarios faster during integration.

Two test options are available directly inside the checkout:

Successful payment fills the form with approved test data
Declined payment fills the form with rejected test data

This works across card payments and alternative payment methods, so you can simulate real payment outcomes without manual input each time.

New

You can now issue partial refunds directly from the payment detail view.

Choose the exact amount to return instead of refunding the entire payment. The dashboard automatically limits the value based on the remaining refundable balance, taking into account any previous partial refunds.

Each refund updates the payment status in real time. When the total refunded amount reaches the original payment value, the payment is marked as fully refunded and processing fees are reversed in the fee breakdown.

Every refund is recorded individually with its timestamp and provider reference ID, so the full refund history remains visible at all times. Payments with refunds also display a net after refund amount, making it clear how much was ultimately retained.

Supported for card payments in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico, and for QR payments in Argentina.

New

Managing a list one record at a time adds up. Pausing dozens of subscriptions, publishing multiple payment links, or exporting customers individually takes longer than it should.

Now you can select multiple rows in any table and act on all of them in a single step. A floating action bar appears as soon as you make a selection, showing only the actions available for that table.

Each table supports its own set of actions:

Subscriptions → Pause, cancel, or export
Payment links → Publish, set to draft, or delete
Products → Archive or unarchive
Plans → Archive or unarchive
Coupons → Delete
Payments → Export
Customers → Export

Your selection persists across pages, so you can build a batch before running the action.

After each action, a confirmation toast shows exactly what happened: how many records were updated, skipped, or failed. Exports are sent directly to your email.

Destructive actions like delete, archive, and cancel require confirmation before they run.

Available now across all main tables in the dashboard.
